1 - The Book of Consequences: Chapter One: Rise of the Green Light Babies

Jefferson Pierce and his family may have survived Tobiass attack, but theyre not out of the woods yet. Concerned for the safety of Garfields students, the board considers a motion to shut down the school, forcing Jefferson to go to Napier Frank to sway the vote. Jennifer struggles with her powers and her actions have unforeseen repercussions. Meanwhile, Anissa finds a new way to give back to Freeland. Lastly, Lynn continues her quest much to the dismay of Agent Odell.

1 - The Resurrection

Jefferson Pierce is a man wrestling with a secret. As the father of Anissa and Jennifer, and principal of a charter high school that also serves as a safe-haven for young people in a neighborhood overrun by gang violence, he is a hero in his community. Nine years ago, Pierce was a hero of a different sort. Gifted with the superhuman power to harness and control electricity, he used those powers to keep his hometown streets safe as the masked vigilante Black Lightning, but he left the Superhero days behind. Almost a decade later, Pierces crime-fighting days are long behind him…or so he thought.

1 - The Book of Occupation: Chapter One: Birth of Blackbird

We find Jefferson Pierce like never before, in the hands of the ASA with his wife Lynn as Agent Odell tightens his grip on the Pierce family, leaving Jennifer abandoned and Freeland without Black Lightning and Thunder. But Anissa secretly defies Odell in her alter ego as Blackbird with the able tactical and technical support of Gambi.

1 - The Book of Reconstruction: Chapter One

Jefferson Pierce is still mourning the death of his long-time friend Detective Henderson. Meanwhile, Gambi is presented with an interesting opportunity. Lastly, Lynn and Jefferson are still not able to see eye to eye.

2 - The Book of Consequences: Chapter Two: Black Jesus Blues

Jefferson must break the news to his students and faculty that he is stepping down. Struggling with his new life as Painkiller, Kahlil pays a visit to Jennifer in hopes of mending things. Meanwhile, Tobias continues to enact his plan.

2 - Lawanda: The Book of Hope

As the community struggles with the violence surrounding them, a glimmer of hope appears: Is Black Lightning back? Lynn Stewart, noticing the changes in the community, is also left wondering. While Jefferson Pierce struggles with his decision, Gambi urges him to take up the mantle once more and return to life as Black Lightning. Anissa and Jennifer try to deal with the aftermath of their jolting experience.

2 - The Book of Occupation: Chapter Two: Maryam's Tasbih

With Freeland under full-blown occupation, the Pierce family gets pulled in different directions. Jefferson and Lynn find themselves at odds with each other. Meanwhile, Anissa rebels as Blackbird while Jennifer feels powerless despite having powers.

2 - The Book of Reconstruction: Chapter Two

The war between the 100 and the Kobra Cartel rages on. Meanwhile, Lynn continues to be concerned about Jefferson and Jennifers curiosity is piqued by a new boy at school.

3 - The Book of Consequences: Chapter Three: Master Lowry

Jefferson is forced to watch as all his good work is undone before his eyes when his replacement arrives and begins implementing sweeping changes. Meanwhile, Anissa continues to play Robin Hood by stealing from one of the most powerful crime syndicates in Freeland.

3 - Lawanda: The Book of Burial

As Jefferson Pierce tries to determine if the community can survive without the help of Black Lightning, Anissa starts to come into her own. Meanwhile, Jefferson and Lynn try and figure out their new dynamic. Finally, Jennifer reveals to her parents that she has been grappling with something big.

3 - The Book of Occupation: Chapter Three: Agent Odell's Pipe-Dream

When Lynn learns that Jefferson brokered a deal with Agent Odell without consulting her first, it begins to put a strain on their relationship. Meanwhile, Anissa and Grace have an emotional encounter.

Jefferson is feeling even more lost after a frustrating therapy session. Meanwhile, Anissa continues to care for a still comatose Grace. Lastly, Lynn has a breakthrough.

Jefferson confronts Anissa about her reckless and irresponsible behavior leading to a fierce disagreement.

Black Lightning is recruited to rally against The 100 gang. Anissa investigates the new drug hitting the streets. Meanwhile, familiar faces begin to reappear.

Jefferson faces new challenges due to the shocking state of Freeland; Lynn finds herself under intense pressure as she desperately tries to find a solution to the continuing crisis in Freeland; Anissa continues her work at the clinic.

An unexpected phone call unearths the long-buried need for Jefferson to investigate the murder of his father. Meanwhile, Annisa wrestles with the fact that her actions have dire consequences. Lastly, Jennifer learns the importance of controlling her temper – in all situations.

5 - The Book of Blood: Chapter One: Requiem

Jefferson and Anissa work together investigating the hometown of a creepy man at the clinic and make a shocking discovery. Meanwhile, with Syonide gone, Tobias puts an increasing amount of pressure on Khalil to help fill some of the void left in the organization.

5 - The Book of Occupation: Chapter Five: Requiem for Tavon

Jefferson struggles with the effects on his family, leading to a decision with tragic consequences. Meanwhile, Anissas identity is threatened. Lastly, Agent Odell takes an important step toward winning over Jennifer.

5 - The Book of Ruin: Chapter One

Gambi supports Black Lightning as he departs on a special mission. Meanwhile, Grace tries to persuade Anissa to let her guard down.

6 - Three Sevens: The Book of Thunder

Jefferson is on the hunt for his fathers killer, while Anissa uses her new powers to rectify a wrong after a protest fails. Jennifer grapples with some difficult choices. Elsewhere, Gambi begs for help from Lynn.

6 - The Book of Blood: Chapter Two: The Perdi

Black Lightning and Thunder return to South Freeland in an attempt to figure out what is going on. When they arrive, they are directed to a nearby wood where they are surrounded by a clan of mixed-race moonshiners called the Perdi. Meanwhile, Lynn, feeling tremendous guilt, falls into a deep depression. Lastly, Tobias finds that his plan is falling apart.

6 - The Book of Resistance: Chapter One: Knocking on Heaven's Door

Jefferson, is torn between his loyalty to his family and his commitment to saving Freeland. Meanwhile, Anissas commitment to Grace is deepening. Lastly, Jennifer makes an interesting discovery.

6 - The Book of Ruin: Chapter Two

Jefferson crosses a line with Lynn. Anissa shares some important news. Tobias makes a surprising move.

7 - Equinox: The Book of Fate

Black Lightnings pursuit for Tobias continues. Anissa continues to find herself in the new normal.

7 - The Book of Blood: Chapter Three: The Sange

When Black Lightning and Thunder are attacked by Looker and her clan, they fight to get her to release control over the Sange. Meanwhile, Jennifer and Khalil continue to grow closer.

7 - The Book of Resistance: Chapter Two: Henderson's Opus

Anissa and Jefferson have a heart-to-heart and she tells him she needs Black Lightnings help in escorting meta refugees out of the perimeter. Meanwhile, Gambi implores Lynn to help get him access to the Pit. Lastly, Jennifer grows closer to Brandon.

7 - Painkiller

After attempting to bury the darker, devastatingly lethal Painkiller part of his persona, Khalil Payne has distanced himself away from everyone he knows and loves in a new city, Akashic Valley, in order to find peace... but peace never comes easy for men with pasts like Painkiller.

8 - The Book of Revelations

Black Lightning works with Anissa to help find information to clear Black Lightnings name. Jennifer begins interning for Lynn. Meanwhile, Gambi finds himself in a precarious situation.

8 - The Book of Rebellion: Chapter One: Exodus

The Pierce family is reeling in the wake of Jennifers disappearance. Jefferson, Lynn and Anissa all gather to discuss the most effective way to find her. After learning that Jennifer is with Khalil, Lynn goes to Detective Henderson to ask him to issue a warrant for Khalils arrest. Meanwhile, Jennifer and Khalil are doing their best to stay off the grid but Tobiass new henchwoman Cutter is closing in on them.

8 - The Book of Resistance: Chapter Three: The Battle of Franklin Terrace

Black Lightning decides to fight back when the ASA threatens his old neighborhood. Thunder battles Painkiller, and Tobias has a plan for Lynn to stop the ASA from weaponizing the metas.

8 - The Book of Ruin: Chapter Three

The FBI pays Jefferson a visit. Meanwhile, Anissa surprises Grace.

9 - The Book of Little Black Lies

In the aftermath of the latest killing, Black Lightning works to clear his name while also hunting down the person responsible for his fathers death, and anyone else involved. Tensions remain high between Black Lightning and Gambi.

9 - The Book of Rebellion: Chapter Two: Gift of the Magi

After Jennifer and Khalil escape, they take refuge in a barn and Jennifer desperately tries to save a now feverish Khalil, who has grown worse from Cutters poisonous blade. Meanwhile, Jefferson, Lynn and Anissa try everything they can to track down Jennifer and Khalil.

9 - The Book of Resistance: Chapter Four: Earth Crisis

With the coming of the red skies, Jennifer finds herself torn between worlds.

Still on the run, Jennifer and Khalil succumb to their feelings for one another and begin planning their future together. Meanwhile, Jefferson approaches Henderson with a favor.

Jefferson navigates his new reality following the events of the Crisis, and Lynns determination to save the meta kids deepens her troubles. Meanwhile, Anissa/Blackbird faces new challenges. Lastly, Jennifers bond with Brandon begins to grow.

Black Lightning sends Gambi an SOS. Meanwhile, Lynn finds herself in some serious trouble.

11 - Black Jesus: The Book of Crucifixion

As suspicions grow that Jefferson Pierce is Black Lightning, the ASA arranges to have him arrested. Lynn seeks help from Detective Henderson. Meanwhile, as Jefferson is in custody, Gambi and Anissa work together to show Black Lightning is still running around the streets of Freeland.

11 - The Book of Secrets: Chapter One: Prodigal Son

Jefferson suspects that Tobias is behind a recent malicious attack. He brings this news to Henderson but doesnt get the answer he was looking for. Meanwhile, Lynn is confronted by her past.

Jefferson, Anissa and Jennifer discover that the ASA is now hunting the entire Pierce family. Meanwhile, Lynn does the unthinkable.

Black Lightning and his team descend upon Markovia on a mission to rescue Lynn who finds herself in even more trouble when she meets Gravedigger, a metahuman on the Markovian side.

After four seasons, the game-changing, relevant and electrifying series comes to an end.

Looking for answers, a worried Anissa sets out to find Grace.

Lynn counsels former pod kid, Wendy, in how to live in a world thats new to her but the fate of the other pod kids remains in doubt. Meanwhile, Anissa figures out Graces secret. Lastly, Jefferson tries to install a superhero code for his metahuman offspring, but Jennifer insists on taking revenge on Tobias for her boyfriends death.

15 - The Book of War: Chapter Two: Freedom Ain't Free

After learning that Gravedigger and the Markovians are coming to attack Freeland, the Pierce family prepares for war.

16 - The Book of the Apocalypse: Chapter Two: The Omega

Lynn goes head to head with Dr. Jace once and for all. Meanwhile, Gambi risks his life to save Jennifer. Lastly, Tobias makes a major move to cripple Freeland and kill Black Lightning, requiring our superhero family to step up like never before.
